Im so excited and so grateful to the Lord to release my first album called Zeal of Fire. It is a solo project i have been working on for the last two years. The spirit of Jesus has been the inspiration for all these songs–from His Zeal, His Love, His Truth, His Kindness and His relentless pursuit of us. This is what ignited the spark for a song to come forth, and that is where they came from and what they are all about. This is Zeal of Fire.

Check out this awesome video for the 2013 Circuit Rider Schools! Last years schools were incredible and I believe the Lord is only going to do more! If you can make it, go to one of the schools near you, you will never be the same! Today is the day of salvation!

If it was not for the steady 90 year drumbeat of radical abolitionist, slavery in America would not have been abolished. On January 31st, 1865 the House of Representatives answered their cry by passing the 13th amendment, doing away with slavery once and for all.

The same steady drumbeat for abolition is going on today ever since Roe v. Wade was passed in January 1973. This drum beat for life is growing louder now that nearly 54 million innocent children have been killed. The saying is intense but it truly has become “the silent holocaust.” Wherever you stand on the issue, 54 million is the shear fact of the matter and it should give you pause. On that note, I maintain that it is a travesty that in our day it is even a debate–“are you for the possibility of life or against it?” “are you pro-life or pro-choice?” And that this stance has lead to which political party you are affiliated with is simply, unacceptable. We need to shed the politics of the issue and look at it with a fresh perspective.

The book of Jeremiah opens with that perspective, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” If you lived in a cultural vacuum and read that you would conclude that God cherishes life and does not look at it as finite as we do. We need an elevated perspective, a God perspective, one that looks at life from beginning to end. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was the driving force behind the abolition of the trans atlantic slave trade, U.S. slavery, the civil rights movement, and now in our day Jesus is fueling the fire of abolishing the current sex trafficking industry and abortion. The liberating drum beat of the Gospel will not be stopped.

Jesus came, “to set the captives free and bind up the brokenhearted.” He had piercing words concerning the protection of innocent children, “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea”-Matthew 18:5-6. Imagine what Jesus would have to say about the innocent unborn children! Why is the issue of abortion linked to slavery? Because abortion is inherently tied to the issue of life and liberty. We live in a land that was founded on the right to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” If we protect this right for the born, how can we deny it to the unborn? We are created in the image of God and the Founders knew this. They did not act on this truth in their day (in regards to slavery) others would pick up where they left off. Therefore, life is sacred and must be protected in and out of the womb in our land and in our day. Psalm 49:7-8 says, “Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life, for the ransom of their life is costly and can never suffice.”

A recent time magazine cover speaks to the advancing pro-life drumbeat in America, “40 years ago, abortion-rights activists won an epic victory with Roe v. Wade, they’ve been loosing ever since.” The tide is turning, the cause of LIFE is advancing. No one is an accident. The God of eternity past, present and future says, “before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” The House of Representatives will one day agree with this truth and do away with abortion once and for all.
